Modular Data Centers

dataMods - Deploy Data Center 2.0 in less than 60 days

2MW Two-Phase Liquid Immersion Cooled Data Center

E3 NV takes the complexity out of building Data Center 2.0.  We offer a complete solution that seamlessly integrates pre-fabricated Critical Infrastructure Modules (CIMs) with cutting-edge Gen-2 Dual-Phase Immersion Cooling technology. This innovative approach efficiently cools E3’s immersion-ready servers, slashing energy use and environmental footprint.  E3 modular and scalable solutions ensure you get a high-performance, sustainable data center 2.0 built for the future, all from a single, trusted source; just add your connections for internet and power!

E3's Data Center 2.0 Modules are unlike any traditional data center. Our modules are flexible, scalable, and inherently efficient.

Our modules give you all the advantages of modular construction (time to deployment, efficiency, high density, etc.) but unlike containerized data centers, they are easy to maintain due to their ladder rack above the racks and below the raised floor.

Advantages of Edge Modular Construction

Cost Savings

  • Reduced Energy Consumption
  • Excellent Power Utilization Effectiveness
  • Lower Initial Investment
  • Higher Power Density
  • Only buy the infrastructure you need

 Deployment Time

  • Construction occurs at the same time as permitting
  • Modules can be deployed in multiple stages
  • Monetize assets sooner

Flexibility

  • Deploy on rooftops, alleyways, indoors, outdoors, and in any climate
  • Modules can be as small as a tool shed or can comprise an entire data center 2.0
  • 48 Different Size Configurations
  • Aluminum construction and lithium batteries are available for weight-limited deployments

Energy Costs

Two-Phase Liquid Immersion Cooling has the highest TCO

The chart above is a simple comparison of monthly energy costs of a 10MW data center. This is based on the average PUE of a data center, which is 1.7 according to the EIA. The EIA believes that this has dropped from 2.2 to 1.7 because of the implementation of water cooling, containment, and modular data centers. Realistically, the traditional data center could cost as much as $1,300,000 a month!

No Containers

A comparison of a containerized data center and one in a modualr building. There is a man t demonstrate how little space is available in the container. The modualr building has a vestibule, aisle containment and 3ft wide aisles and raised floors for easy maintenance.

Many of our customers switched to our modules after trying containerized solutions. As you can see on the right, ISO shipping containers are tiny and there is not enough room for proper maintenance.

This actually increases TCO above that of a traditional data center! Our modules are built to have a twenty-year lifespan, allowing you to reuse the same module for many generations of equipment.
